A tribute to the warriors who walk beside us.. is in order. In this season, remarkable women in my life, especially the mothers, have shaped my perspective on the present moment. They've left unforgettable imprints on my understanding of this precious commodity. My mother, living unapologetically, exemplifies the art of living on one's own terms. The mothers of my loved ones have illuminated battles fought in silence.

Their strength and resilience, in both the present and the past, are evident in the fabric of life. For those no longer with us, we hold hope they're dancing to a timeless rhythm in the grasp of those they once missed. Moving forward, we are challenged to become aware of our privilege to be here.

GROUNDED

Roots - Time

In honor of the clock “Falling Back” for daylight savings, a thought about time itself:

Throughout history, people have had varied notions of time. From ancient scriptures like the Bible to Sanskrit texts in Hinduism, we've documented our evolving understanding of the clock's measured ticks and the moments we hold.

Diving further into the concept of time, the ancient Greeks gave us two essential terms. Kronos symbolized the steady, measured passage of time, like a continuous march through life. On the other hand, Kairos represented the idea of "deep time," where time momentarily pauses, and the elusive "right moment" when everything aligns perfectly.

We live in a society where we are encouraged to move forward quickly. Whether this is right or wrong.. does not change that life itself will challenge us to experience the moment at hand.

Grasping the intricate relationship between Kronos and Kairos empowers us to choose our own rhythm in sync with the clock's movement.

KLOUTY SPOTLIGHT

Organ Donors

This week, we're focusing on our ability to save lives and create meaningful change as organ donors. The quote pictured to the left captures it perfectly - often, we don't fully grasp the impact of something until it directly affects us. One organ donation can save up to 8 lives. Witnessing a loved one get a second chance at life is a miracle that words can't do justice to. It reminds us of our potential to make a profound difference in others' lives.

Consider this: every 10 minutes, another person in need is added to the organ transplant list. It's a stark reminder of how many aspects of life are beyond our control, but it also underscores the power we possess to give something that can have an impact well beyond our control.

Now, is it always that simple? No. It has an impact on your loved ones. This topic may call you to ask questions that I encourage you to research, and then develop an opinion for your own decision-making. There are a number of factors to consider. As always, it isn't my job to convince you of anything. I'm here to share my own perspective and shed light on where light might be shared.
